We’re proud to announce that The United Arc has signed a lease with the Greenfield Corporate Center as they continue their mission of building inclusive communities.
Founded in 1951 by Rita Marguerite Canedy – a mother who refused to accept institutionalization as the only option for her sons with developmental disabilities – The United Arc began as a grassroots movement of families demanding better. Joined by other founding families, the organization was officially incorporated in 1960 with a shared belief in inclusion, choice, and independence for all.
Today, they honor that legacy by continuing to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving full community inclusion.
