We would like to announce that demolition of the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center located at 1 Atwood Drive in Northampton will begin on Thursday, July 28, 2016 to make way for a new 60,000 sf medical/office facility slated to begin construction later this year.
The Clarion Hotel, formerly the Colonial Hilton, was in business for 47 years and recently closed it’s doors on November 16, 2015.
Development Associates of Agawam, MA, is currently working to secure the anchor tenant for the property and expects to have a commitment soon. Pre-leasing opportunities from 2,500 – 20,000 sf are now available for projected Fall 2017 occupancy. This next building at the I-91 Professional Center development will add to the 70,000 sf of Class A medical/professional office space recently built on Atwood Drive.
The I-91 Professional Office Center along with the upcoming construction of Phase 3 is developed, managed and leased by Development Associates. The principles of Development Associates have been involved with the development and construction of hundreds of buildings, including build-to-suit projects from 1,200 to 200,000 sf, for over 50 years.
